The Malta National Rugby Union
Malta played their first international match in November 2000, against Moldova losing 58-8. They play their home games in the 4,000 capacity St Johns Stadium, Marsa, in the south of the island of Malta.
Rugby Jerseys of Malta
Malta play their home games in strip of quartered shirts in white, red and black. The away shirt is red with white under the arms. The shirt featured in the early rounds of the 2007 RWC qualification for the first time but did not progress past the third round. Malta does not have a history of progressing far in any international sport, but Rugby suffers as the poor relation to the more popular football.
